Will Real Madrid ever go under 2 1/2 again?

I just finished watching Real Madrid vs. Marseille. Quite an impressive scoring machine with Ronaldo and Beckham. Will this team ever fail to score 2 1/2 goals (total) along with another team??

I see where they had a 1-1 score against Villareal earlier this month. Can anyone say why this scored so low? Can we look forward to Real Madrid going over on a consistent basis in the future?

Thanks much.

Once Real Madrid encounter some real opposition, they will have some trouble scoring. Those Italian defences sure are hard to crack!

There may be good value on the under sometime in the future.

1. the odds will and have started getting slashed.
2. Consistent yes, but you got to pick your spots regardless.

Good point JackDee. Therein lies an important concept in betting. Surely the odds will be adjusted for the increase in goals. It is our place to spot which odds have not been adjusted enough.

Bechkam, Ronaldo, and Raul didnt play this game because they were playing for their country (international: world cup qualifier and euro 2004) Real madrid also missed other players...but those 3 are the top ones!

I think every single real madrid game will finish over 2.5 goals if all their star players play them game (over 2.5 against any team---because there is no way real madrid will finish a game without scoring....their defense is not that great---so all games over 2.5 if their regular players play) it is very important to check the line up before you place the bets on over under!

.

btw, obviously real paired with a defense minded team such as sociedad or valencia, or in a game such as the one with villareal, a start of the season, championship game with some players out and not a lot of incentive for a high score, etc. etc. will crop the chances of the over.

I see that the o/u line for today's game for Real Madrid against Malaga is at 3. Malaga has a very poor scoring record as their last 3 games have gone 1-0, 1-0, 0-0. Perhaps it would be better to play the line at -1 -118 for Real.

I'll put that down as my play of the day.

Big,

I agree, I'm on Real Madrid -1 too. But perhaps -118 is a little expensive? I got them at -105 yesterday

Good pick Duck.

I've been busy with American sports during the weekend that I just happened upon this match. I need to start being more organized as to which games/matches get attention.

For the record, Real Madrid goes 3-1 over Malaga on Sunday. I didn't pick the OVER on this one due to Malaga's poor record of scoring. Perhaps Real can go over regardless of the offense (or lack thereof) of their opponent.

I'll be looking forward to their next match.
